Bruin Racing Formula SAE
I've joined Bruin Racing in my freshman fall quarter, and through this organization I've learned much about how a car works. How an engine works, transmission, fuel consumption, welding, exhaust, differentials, and cooling. I specialize in the Powertrain team of our Formula SAE car, and through it I've had a hand in the development of the car's engine system. I've manufactured several of the car's parts, and familiarized myself with more efficient mill/lathe practices.

It is fascinating to be able to build a Formula SAE car hands on, and certainly I expect to learn much more about cars and engineering in general. I designed a fuel tank for Mk VI of our Formula SAE line of cars and in the process learned much more about fluid dynamics!
